There are apostolic mothers and fathers across our nation who carry mantles to see fulfillment of national destiny and sustained revival. Much like our forefathers, they have birthed something new through prayer and sacrifice, which I feel will have both great historic and spiritual significance.
The Birth of a Nation
Celebrating the 4th of July to me is like celebrating the birth of our nation. Also known as Independence Day, this U.S. holiday commemorates the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776. Two days earlier, on July 2, the Continental Congress voted to declare that the thirteen American colonies considered themselves to be a new nation—the United States of America—independent from the British Empire. After two days spent debating and revising the wording, the historic document was signed. From 1776 until now, July 4th has been celebrated as the birth of American independence—or the birth of our nation.
Like many prophetic believers, I greatly desire to see our nation come into its full and complete God-ordained destiny, and to see revival and awakening catch fire across the nation. Recently I felt the Lord gave me insight into the link between those who carry the burden of prayer and action to see this happen, and the forefathers instrumental to the birth of our nation.
Mantles of Destiny and the Great Cloud of Witnesses
Last October my very dear friend and spiritual mother graduated to heaven, and our ministry team and I believe that I inherited her mantle. In a recent dream, I felt the Lord showed me how she and I continue to work together in ministry. In one segment the two of us were alone in an upper room, hand-stitching on the same garment. She took the more difficult and intricate work, and as we sewed we talked—with me sharing what was on my heart, much like I always had. At one point a gentleman (whom I felt represented God the Father) looked in on us with approval, then left us to continue our work.
The dream was amazing, but I puzzled over certain aspects. Hebrews 12:1 reveals the great cloud of witnesses surrounds us, but could they also work with us? In some odd way, I sense her presence with me more every day now than I did when she was alive, and I asked the Lord to reveal His mind concerning this.
Something He showed me helped bring a measure of clarity. If someone donates their corneas or organs when they die, the transplant recipient actually carries a part of that person with them. We sometimes hear of emotional “reunions” between a donor’s recipient and their next of kin—because those living carry a piece of those who died. The sacrifice of the one who came before sustains the one living.
In a spiritual sense, prophetic mantles that are passed down are much the same—although in many instances, especially for larger revival and national type mantles, they are often inherited in part. Consider, for example, the recent passing of Billy Graham. Most in the prophetic community believe his mantle of evangelism did not pass to just one person, but to many who carry a similar intercessory burden and call to harvest lost souls.
There are apostolic mothers and fathers across our nation who carry mantles to see fulfillment of national destiny and sustained revival. Much like our forefathers, they have birthed something new through prayer and sacrifice, which I feel will have both great historic and spiritual significance.
America On Top
Recently I heard the Lord say we had reached a turning point, and entered a season in which America goes to the top. As I prayed about this, the Lord directed me to Deuteronomy 28:1-14, which is about the blessings resulting from obedience. Verse 13 says:
“And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.”
Since President Trump’s election to office we have seen this nation honor Israel, regain a level of international respect, and seen him take a public stand for righteousness on issues like abortion. Let’s keep interceding for a continued return to many of the foundational principals that result in blessing that our nation was founded upon. Maybe it’s just time to see America go to the top, and the next step will be flames of awakening and revival!
The New Move of God
In a recent article I released several dreams I had concerning two babies named Revival and Awakening. Since then, my husband and I have each had a dream about caring for a baby.
First, my husband dreamed he was at a large gathering, which he knew represented some type of denominational or spiritual stream. A woman was present who had been given the task of caring for a baby. It was obvious the woman and young child had not bonded and the infant was clearly not thriving.
Then someone handed my husband the baby—whom he perceived to be about twelve months old. The infant instantly relaxed and pressed into his chest in an expression of affection and peace. As he looked closer, my husband observed the baby to be at once both young and old, with differing lengths of facial hair on each side of his face!
More recently I dreamed I was caring for an infant this same age. As I held him I moved between different groups of people, and at one point offered him water to drink. He drank and drank and drank and drank—as if he absolutely could not get enough! Puzzled, I told those present I had given him a drink shortly before this and had no explanation for his extreme thirst. In the closing scene the baby collapsed exhausted against my chest. He simply could not hold his head up any longer so great was his need for rest. I understood this was the result of all the recent stimulation and activity.
The Lord identified this baby to me as, “The New Move of God,” comprised of both Awakening and Revival. Both my husband and I feel the dreams were not specifically about us, but were representative of the apostolic mothers and fathers who will successfully steward and shepherd revival, awakening, and God’s purposes in the earth. The prayers being offered are what quench the baby’s thirst, and he cannot get enough! I see The New Move of God as young, yet at the same time old, in the sense that those who have faithfully come before us are almost as much a part of it as we are.
I feel the prophetic weight of this. Together we will not fail to care for the infant called, The New Move of God, and he will grow and thrive among us. Indeed I see a link between those who carry national mantles of revival and destiny and the natural and spiritual forefathers and mothers of our nation. There’s a secondary definition for the word link, which means: a burning torch. Will you take the torch that’s been passed by those who came before, that together we might see destiny fulfilled and revival fires burn bright in this nation?
Let us be that generation, Lord Jesus. Amen.
